Dream Big

This is a beautiful throw or wall hanger that will catch anyone's eye! The bright and vibrant orange hues adds life to this Dahlia flower.
One side has the Dahlia flower with gold sequins in the center for added beauty and the other side was quilted in a variegated thread to give it an unique look of its own. You can have 2 wall hangers or throws for the price of one!

It has extra batting added to the petals to give them a dimensional look. I used an orange variegated thread on the back to compliment the front of the quilt. Gold sequins were applied to the center of the flower.
It is machine pieced and quilted on my longarm quilting machine
The thread used was Monofilament and a Variegated thread from Superior Thread. It was double folded for durability and attached by machine on the front and folded and handsewn to the back.

The fabrics are all 100% cotton. I use "Warm & Natural" needled cotton batting which does not contain resins or glues. Batting will not separate or bunch.
