This quilt reminds me of the quilts that your grandmother or great grandmother has made that had plenty of character, lots of color and made with much love. It has many memories of years gone by. It would be laid out on one of the beds in a back room just for beauty and to admire. One that would last you a life time.
Each block is appliqued on a cream Fairy Frost fabric. It is made with all high-quality quilting cottons. A beautiful mix of coordinating solids and prints makes this perfect for any room. It has metallic thread throughout each block and border.
It is machine pieced and quilted on my longarm quilting machine. I used several pattern designs for the quilting to go along with the theme of Spring. The thread used was Mona filament Superior Thread.
It has stabilizer and warm and natural cotton batting in the middle. This quilt is ready to be used and loved for a lifetime!
