fabrics is handmade using traditional artisan methods in Bali, Indonesia. The batikers apply wax to fabric by hand using dots, lines or intricate patterns. The wax “resists” the application of the next chosen dye color. Multiple applications of wax and color may be used to achieve the final design and color of each fabric.
