Join us for a cozy and creative day making your very own rag quilt! This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to dive into quilting without the fuss of precise piecing. Rag quilts are soft, frayed-edge quilts made from layered squares of flannel or cotton — ideal for gifting, snuggling, or adding a handmade touch to your home. You’ll learn how to layer, stitch, and snip your way to a finished quilt top, with plenty of tips on layout, batting options, and finishing techniques. No quilting experience required — just bring your enthusiasm and love for fabric!

Supplies: Bring the following to class or purchase at Ms Sew N' Sew's  with your class discount of 10%

Supply List:

Fabric Requirements (based on a lap-size quilt 45" x 54")

• Flannel 2yds each for front and backing (total of 4 yds)

• Batting squares 1 1/2yds

• Thread to coordinate with fabrics (cotton or polyester)

• Rag snips or sharp scissors

• Sewing machine in good working condition

• Basic sewing supplies: seam ripper, pins, measuring cup (if using pellets), etc.
