Sassafras Doll Making Class
Introduction:
Welcome to our doll making class! In this class, we will guide you through the process of creating an 18" beautiful young girl named Sassafras, filled with sparkles and imbued with a delightful spirit. This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate sewers. Let's get started!
Kits will be available for purchase ($49.95) they will include: poly-fil, accessory pack, pattern, and wood kit

Materials Needed:
1. Fabric (preferably cotton or muslin)
- 1/4 yd (hat)
- 1/4 yd (shoes)
- 1/8 yd (tights)
- 1/4 yd (body muslin fabric)
- 1/3 yd (dress)
- 1/4 yd (sleeves)
- 1/8 yd (collar)
3. 1yd 1/8" Ribbon (optional)
4. Stuffing material (12oz.polyfill will be provided in kit to purchase)
5. Small decorative accessories (beads, ribbons, bells, sequins, etc. optional)
6. Sassafras Accessory Pack (will be provided in kit to purchase. It includes eyes, nose, wool for hair, bells, buttons, quilting hoop, scrap fur)
7. Sassfrass Pattern (will be provided in kit to purchase)
8. Wood Kit (feet and legs will be provided in kit to purchase)
9. Glitter Spray (optional)
Sewing Supplies:
10. Hot Glue Gun with extra Glue Sticks
11. Pencil or fabric marker
12. Pins
13. Long Sculpture needle (use to apply eyes. you can purchase at Ms Sew N' Sew's Quilt Shop)
14. Scissors
15. Sewing needles
16. Sewing machine
Bring basic sewing machine supplies such as scissors, pins or clips, rotary cutter,
bobbins, seam ripper, and your sewing machine that is in good working order.
