Class Description
Any quilter with good basic sewing skills can come away from this class with all that they need to create a Bargello style quilt. Students will learn about selecting fabric for a Bargello, constructing strip sets, building vertical columns and attaching columns together into a quilt top.

Class Supply List
1 Jelly Roll pack (42-2 1/2" strips)
thread for piecing
rotary cutter
12" x 18" ruler
marking pencil
1yd Flannel (for design wall)

Classroom Preparation
Each student will need to sew all strips together before class. When they package these strips together they go from light to dark so you will keep that order and go from light to dark when sewing strips together. First you are going to sew two jelly roll strips together, side by side in the color/pattern of your choice. You will then repeat with the third jelly roll in the same exact order.

NOTE:
Please bring basic sewing machine supplies such as scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc. and your sewing machine that is in good working order.

Remember class will start at 10:00!

This project is so much fun and the best part is selecting the fabric! If you need assistance the staff has a world of knowledge on coordinating fabric.
