The Big Giant Rag Quilt Bow

This course is required prior to renting the stand-up longarm machines. We'll cover all aspect of free motion quilting on a longarm machine, from quilt prep to loading, basic machine operation, as well as some free motion quilting designs. You'll also learn how to quilt using a pantograph. By the end of class, you'll be able to quilt an allover design on your own quilt! We provide quilt tops, backing & batting, plus a handout detailing class instruction.

No sewing experience, materials, or cost required—just bring your heart and a willingness to help. We’ll be using the simple and fun ‘burrito’ method, making this the perfect opportunity for beginners, kids, and anyone curioIf you have your own machine, we encourage you to bring it so newcomers can use the machines provided.
